Abbey Hamachek joined NBC 26 in May 2025 and covers the Lakeshore neighborhood.
Born and raised in Manitowoc, she loves working and living in the community she's long called home.
Abbey is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she earned a bachelor's in journalism.
Outside of work, Abbey enjoys the great outdoors, hiking, and listening to live music.
