VILLAGE OF WRIGHTSTOWN — Wrightstown was hit hard by the storm. Some people there are still waiting for their power to come back on.

This entire community has been affected by the Saturday’s storm. One place recovering from storm damage is a local cemetery where trees are down, branches are broken, and some headstones are knocked over, or have trees on top of them.

Crews have been out working to clear branches from the side of the streets. Some roads were still closed Monday because of fallen power lines.

The Village Administrator tells NBC26 almost all the village lost power Saturday and about 5 percent of the area is still without power. To help, the village has a refrigerator cooler for food, charging stations, cooling stations and water.

"In the trailer we probably had I think 12 or 13 people that brought stuff,” said Village Administrator Travis Coenen. “Probably 40 to 50 coolers and tubs or perishables that hopefully we were able to save for someone."

People were stacking up wood Monday, clearing their yards, and helping their neighbors with clean up as well.
