Severe Weather Update

GREEN BAY, Wis. — (UPDATE 11:20)

According to our Storm Shield team:

Wind gusts up to 53 miles per hour have been reported in Oshkosh, Green Bay, Hobart, Kewaunee, Wautoma, and Manitowoc.

Half-inch size hail was reported in Green Bay.

Downed trees and power lines have been reported in Antigo and across the entire county.

Trees that have been knocked down by wind gusts have also been reported in Mountain, Suamico, Iola, Langes, Newton and Egg Harbor.

Power lines have also been reported down in those areas.

According to a report from WPS 36,000 customers are without power due to the storm.

Rainfall totals of 1.26 inches have been reported in Iola along with 60 miles per hour wind gusts.

Rock USA in Oshkosh and Polka days in Polaski were both evacuated due to the storms Friday night.

There are numerous reports of trees down across the area. More storm reports will continue to come in throughout the night.

According to a weather radar storm survey a possible tornado could be in the Waupaca County area on Saturday.

A band of heavy rain moving into our viewing area. Heavy rain, lightening flashes and high gusts of wind have been reported.

Currently, 2 severe thunderstorms warnings are in effect. Northern counties; Door, Brown, Marinette, and Oconto counties till 10:15.

Penny size hail and 60 miles per hour winds have been reported. Multiple reports of downed trees and power lines in the Brown County area.

The storm is now pushing towards Door County with a potential for 70 mile per hour winds.

Stay safe and stay inside. Be sure your are in a study building to ride out the storm.

Chief Meteorologist Cameron Moreland says the worst has passed the Ashwaubenon area.

He says this severe thunderstorm is moving north of Green Bay heading into door county.

A tornado is possible.

Storm headed towards lake Michigan.
