Nine displaced from Green Bay apartment fire

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — An apartment fire in Green Bay left nine people displaced Saturday night around 8:30 p.m.

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department said the fire happened in a complex of the Humboldt Heights Apartments.

Firefighters said fire was coming out a second story window of the 16 unit apartment building.

The first responding crew were able to quickly knock down the fire. They said there was extensive fire, water, and smoke damage to four other apartments in the building.

According to the Department, nine people are displaced due to the fire.

The fire is still under investigation. No further information was given at this time.
