Suspect in Fond du Lac homicide to appear in court Wednesday

FOND DU LAC — The suspect in a homicide of a 40-year-old Fond du Lac man will appear in court Wednesday at 11 a.m., police announced.

Timothy D. Brown, 32, faces charges of first degree intentional homicide and felon in possession of a firearm.

On Monday, the Fond du Lac Police Department searched a residence on W. Cotton Street and made an arrest in connection with the homicide of Brandon A. Johnson.

On the morning of August 20, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call, which reported a person laying on the ground on the 200 block of Marquette Street.

Officers found a 40-year-old man from the Fond du Lac area dead from an apparent gunshot wound. He was later identified as Brandon Johnson.
