The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has confirmed that a 14-year-old boy was shot by another youth hunter while preparing to go hunting in Oconto County.
The incident happened at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11.
According to reports, the two boys were getting ready to go hunting when the other youth hunter, a 16-year-old boy, accidentally shot the 14-year-old in the leg.
The DNR states that the 14-year-old boy is expected to make a full recovery.
