The group Showing up for Racial Justice (SURJ) Appleton plans to hold a demonstration and fundraiser after a Black Lives Matter banner, displayed outside The Fox Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Church was stolen for a fourth time.

The protest runs from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM on the public sidewalk on Calumet Street in front of the Fellowship, located at 2600 Philips Lane. "Rather than spin with negativity about the loss of the banner, we are using this theft as an opportunity to raise funds for Black Lives Matter national," a news release reads.
