Brown County deputies say 33-year-old Samuel Kuehl of Appleton died shortly after a crash on state highway 57 at Wayside Rd. in the Town of Holland on Thursday.
The crash happened just after 11:30 p.m.
The sheriff's department says Kuehl didn't stop at a stop sign. He then collided with a dump truck traveling south. Deputies say both vehicles caught fire.
Kuehl was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a press release.
The driver of the dump truck, 33-year-old Gregory Warden of Greenleaf, was treated at a hospital and released.
