Oshkosh Police no longer looking for owner of car possibly related to death investigation

Update:  In a press release this morning the Oshkosh police announce they are no longer looking for the owner of the blue SUV.  They are still investigating the death of Aaron Wood, and are asking anyone with information on the case to contact them.

 

The Oshkosh Police Department is looking for the owner of a car possibly related to a death investigation in the city.

On Wednesday, October 11, Oshkosh Police responded to the 300 block of Viola Avenue around 9:19 a.m. for a death investigation. The deceased man was identified as Aaron Wood.

An autopsy was performed on Thursday, October 12. The cause of death is pending toxicology reports, officers said.

During the investigation, officers found Wood's car in the Oshkosh City Hall parking lot.

On security footage, officers saw a vehicle driving into the lot on Sunday, October 8 and picking up the person who dropped off Wood's car.

That vehicle can be seen in the photo above.
