Police have found the mother of a toddler who was found wandering alone in Neenah Tuesday morning.
Police believe the mother of the child overslept. She called police around 2:30 p.m. looking for her daughter, police said.
The child, who police believe is around 2-3 years old, was found at Lake and Main Street by a woman driving by in her car around 9 a.m., officers said. She was wearing just a diaper and a sweatshirt.
Police were searching for the child's family for nearly six hours.
The child is still with Child Protective Services.
