DE PERE (WGBA) — The St. Norbert football team won its home opener Saturday, holding off UW-Eau Claire for its first win over a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) team since 1983.
It was the first time a team from the Midwest Conference beat a team from the WIAC since 1935; St. Norbert joined the Midwest Conference in 1984.
