Six area teams advanced to the WIAA football semifinal round, with one still to play on Saturday.
In Division 1, Kimberly beat Appleton North and Bay Port took care of Marquette. The Papermakers and Pirates will play each other next Friday in a game that will highlight the semifinal round.
In Division 3, Menasha upset Bay Conference rival West De Pere. The Bluejays will play Menomonie in the semifinals.
Wrightstown and Kiel will face off in Division 4, and Oshkosh Lourdes advanced to the Division 7 semifinals after a win over Hilbert.
