A 34 year old Fond du Lac man is behind bars after a foot chase with police where a shot was fired Thursday night.
Fond du Lac Police arrived to a disturbance call shortly after 7:30 p.m. Thursday night on the 300 block of Linden Street.
Witnesses told police a man had a gun, but police did not find the suspect or a weapon at that location, according to a press release.
A short time after at 8:11 p.m., officers went to an address on the 300 block of 3rd Street where a suspect was seen matching a previous description.
When officers attempted to stop the man, he fled. During the foot chase, the suspect fired his weapon, police said.
Officers were able to take the man into custody at gun-point about a block away from where the chase began.
Officers did not need to fire their weapons, and are holding the suspect on a probationary warrant.
No injuries were reported.
