The woman killed after the car she was in went into the water at the Sister Bay Marina has been identified.

Victoria Burger, 24, of Sobieski, was killed Saturday night. Jennifer Drewski, 24, of De Pere, survived the accident.

Just before 10 p.m., the sheriff's office responded to a car that had driven into the water at the Sister Bay Marina.

Deputies found a white Hyundai 4-door submerged near the boat launch.

One conscious woman was rescued from the water and told deputies there was another woman in the car, deputies said.

Paramedics from Door County Emergency Services dove into the water and made two attempts to find the second victim, but water temperature affected their search.

The Door County Dive Team arrived at the scene and found the second victim, bringing her to shore, the sheriff's office said. That woman, Burger, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
