A family farm in Fond du Lac County suffered serious damage from Tuesday’s storm.
A woman named Carson, whose family owns the farm, says she and some of her family were away from the farm when the storm hit. Carson says they were seeing a movie in Oshkosh when her mother called and told them to stay where they were because of the severity of the storm.
“Then my sister […] came and she was just bawling her eyes out and she just told me one sentence: ‘Our farm is gone,’” Carson said. “'Dad just texted me that the farm is gone.'”
Carson said about four of their cattle died in the storm. The rest of their cattle have been safely moved to other farms.
Fond du County had reports of tornado touchdowns on Tuesday.
