The hottest weather of the summer is moving into Wisconsin prompting a series of warnings, watches and advisories across the state.

The hottest conditions are likely south and west of the Fox Valley. Green Lake & Marquette Counties are under an Extreme Heat Warning. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 90's with heat indexes over the 100 degree mark. Most of Northeast Wisconsin is under a Heat Advisory where it expected to hot as well.

The National Weather Service recommends people take it easy when outside Thursday and Friday. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and keep an eye on your pets.

Only Kewaunee, Door, Marinette and Langlade Counties are not included in any heat related advisory.
In addition to the heat, Northeast Wisconsin could see strong to severe thunderstorms.
