APPLETON (NBC 26) -- Appleton Police say two people who were arrested last week are now facing charges.
Appleton Police say its SWAT officers assisted detectives from Aurora, Illinois in taking Timothy Parker and Richard M. Gaston of Illinois into custody. The arrest happened at a home in the 1500 Block of East Calumet Street on October 14.
The two men were held in Calumet County Jail awaiting extradition.
Appleton Police say the Illinois state attorney’s office has formally charged both suspects with attempted murder, armed robbery and aggravated battery with a firearm.
Police said the two men will not face local charges.
