GREEN BAY, Wis. — Local leaders in northeast Wisconsin are responding to the release of the Mueller report.

The Mueller Report has several reactions that have not been made public, which censor the release of details revolving around Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election.

Since the beginning of this investigation, the Trump campaign has been adamant that the president never colluded with Russia or obstructed the justice process of this investigation. As the Mueller Report was released on Thursday, with several items on that report deemed classified, people on both sides of the aisle are weighing in on what citizens have the right to know.

"Which is obviously concerning because I think the American people and also many Republicans have been asking for the full release of this report,” says Terry Lee, with the Democratic Party of Brown County. “If there is nothing to hide, then let it all be out there."

"There was no evidence what so ever of any American, no American, not in the Trump campaign, not in the Clinton campaign, no American colluding with the Russians,” says U.S. Senator Ron Johnson. “So, we should be happy about that. We ought to be able to move on."

Some Democrats are optimistic that the full report could still be released in its entirety but many on the other side of the argument say it’s time for America to move forward.
