GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — It was a great day for families to come out on Saturday to Lambeau Field and participate in Project Play 60 Express.

The event which is aimed to get the littles one moving was focused on several non-strenuous activities that were available to children and their families.

This year they did have to make some modifications due to Covid.

The activities were held all around the concourse in open air as opposed to what they normally have with inflatables inside the atrium.

“We wanted to make sure that there was an outlet. Even if it’s 15 minutes here to get out of the house, get going, get moving, change up the environment and then provide some of those staples and maybe reenergize them for activity at home,” said Amanda Wery, Green Bay Packers Community Outreach Coordinator.

During the activities, volunteers made sure the traffic would flow in a one way direction in order to keep thing moving socially distanced.

At the end of the courses, children received a kit where it included several more activities they could try out at home as well.

The event was free to the public and those attending had to make previous online reservation as they only had limited space available.
