GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- A man suspected in a shooting last week turned himself in, Green Bay Police said Wednesday.
Police said the shooting happened Friday on South Oakland Avenue near Seymour Park at around 11 p.m. A person was shot in the leg and was hospitalized as a result.
According to police, officers arrested the suspect in that shooting after he turned himself in at GBPD Headquarters on Wednesday morning. The suspect has been identified as 26-year-old Muhammad Rahem Hoskins.
Hoskins is currently being held at the Brown County Jail and it is anticipated that he will have a preliminary hearing Thursday or Friday where bail will be set, police said in a news release. Hoskins potentially faces a charge of attempted homicide, recklessly endangering safety and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
