GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- The Green Bay community has seen an influx of graffiti complaints since March, Green Bay Police said Thursday. Some of the graffiti appears to reference coronavirus.

According to Green Bay Police, there have been 32 complaints of graffiti showing up on residences, businesses, churches, parking lots and other places since March 18.

"In a 24 hour span from March 14th to the 15th, there have been 12 cases of the 32 that were reported," police stated in a news release.

Police also said several of the cases saw graffiti with the statement, "Covid is a lie."

Police believe multiple suspects are committing these crimes as the graffiti is citywide. Police call the trend "alarming" and said it's increasing.

The Green Bay Police Department is asking for help from the community in identifying the suspects responsible.

Below are two maps police provided of the graffiti cases.
