PULASKI, Wis. — A man has been arrested after police say he tried to break into multiple homes and cars throughout Pulaski.
Police say it started Tuesday night when officers responded to a residence on the 200 block of W. Pulaski St. for a physical disturbance between a man and woman. Police say the 26-year-old man ran off.
Police say the man then tried to break in to several residences and vehicles throughout the village. Police say he was able to break in at some locations. Police tried to use a K9 to track him down, but the cold temperatures and the terrain made efforts difficult.
Later in the evening, officers got information about the man's whereabouts. Police say they were finally able to track him down and take him into custody. The man, who has not been identified, was taken to Brown County Jail.
Police tell NBC26 the man managed to travel about 1.5 miles from the location of the disturbance on West Pulaski Street to ultimately be taken into custody on Jenny Court, located on the southeast side of the village.
