BOWLER (NBC 26) -- The North Star Mohican Casino Resort will be closing on Thursday and will stay closed for a couple of weeks.

The casino states on its website that a voluntary temporary closure will be in effect for the facility on September 24 at 5:00 p.m. All operations including North Star Mohican Casino Resort, Pine Hills Golf Course, and Little Star Convenience Store will be closing on Thursday, the casino says.

A tentative reopening date is set for after October 13.

Several entertainment events at the resort, including Eddie Montgomery, Black Label Society, Puddle of Mudd, Michael Bolton, Jay Leno, and Jeff Foxworthy, have all been postponed. Tickets already purchased for those events will be honored at the future event dates.

More information about the closure can be found here.
