OSHKOSH (NBC 26) -- Merrill Middle School will transition back to hybrid learning on Tuesday, September 8, the school confirmed in a letter addressed to parents.

Posted on the Oshkosh Area School District's website, the school says September 8 is an “A Day”, which means that Group B students will report to school for in-person learning and Group A students will participate in virtual learning.

"This transition back to Hybrid Learning was expedited as a result of finding creative solutions to staffing challenges for critical positions due to COVID-19 exposure, as well as some quarantine periods ending," a letter to Merrill Middle School parents said. "This solution was confirmed this morning."

Previously, Merrill Middle School and Oshkosh North High School were switched to virtual learning. Click here for more information.
