OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — Menominee Nation Area presents its Park N' View Movie Series starting Friday night, featuring the movie Grease.
Anyone who comes to the movies in a classic car will receive a free popcorn and two fountain soda drinks, according to arena staff.
Admission is $10 for a single person in a car, $20 for two people per car, and $30 for a carload of up to five people. According to staff, only 380 tickets will be sold. Parking is first come, first park.
Menominee Nation Area said it will open its gates at 5 p.m. then start the movie at dark. Masks are required to enter the premises. Pets are not permitted.
As a safety precaution, staff are asking everyone who attends to stay home if you are feeling any symptoms of COVID-19 or other illnesses. Attendees will be able to enjoy the movie from the comfort of their vehicle or may choose to sit on the tailgate or in front of the car in a lawn chair or on a blanket. You are asked to remain in or next to your vehicle for the whole event.
Staff said if people need to leave their area for concessions or the restroom, a facemask is to be worn and social distancing should be observed. Security personnel will enforce all rules.
Food carry-ins are not allowed, but staff said the Maple Pub is offering concession options or Arena staff can deliver food. This includes alcoholic beverages for anyone over the age of 21 who has a valid ID.
