MANITOWOC (NBC 26) -- Manitowoc's Mayor has initiated a winter parking ban to take effect the early morning of New Year's Eve.
Specifically, the ban will be from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 31. Parking is not allowed Winter Parking Ban streets, which are salt routes including bus and truck routes, arterial streets, State Highways, and County Trunks within the the City’s jurisdiction.
Drivers who violate this ban face a $50.00 fine. Drivers are asked to find alternative parking on non-restricted streets.
