GRAND CHUTE (NBC 26) — A man is facing drug charges in connection with the deaths of two people outside a motel last weekend. Gregory Clowers is charged with one count of delivering fentanyl and one count of delivering cocaine.

This comes after police found two bodies in the parking lot of the Roadway Inn Motel on Sunday morning.

Grand Chute Police say in a report that during a routine patrol of a hotel in the 200 block of North Westhill Boulevard, an officer found an unconscious person laying on the ground of the hotel's parking lot. After a welfare check, the individual was determined to not be breathing or have a pulse.

The officer began CPR and while providing medical aid, another person in a nearby vehicle was seen to be unconscious and unresponsive. Officers removed the individual from the vehicle and was given CPR.

Officers on the scene then located a third individual located inside the hotel who was in medical distress.

By the end of the call, it is reported by the Grand Chute Police, that four individuals were transported to local hospitals for emergency medical care. Upon arrival at the hospital, two individuals were pronounced deceased by the Outagamie County Coroner.

Clowers was later arrested following an investigation. Police said in a previous release that two of the original four patients who were transported to the local hospitals have either been released or are in stable condition.
