GREEN BAY, Wis. — A 20-year-old Manitowoc motorcyclist died over the weekend after crashing at the entrance to the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Green Bay Police say.

Police say the motorcycle rider, identified as Trevor Goulder, was heading eastbound on East Shore Drive when it collided with a car. The car's driver, identified as a 19-year-old man, was leaving the Wildlife Sanctuary, trying to turn left.

Police say the crash caused the car to spin around and eventually come to rest about 30 yards off the roadway on the grassy lot near the lagoon.

Police say Goulder was wearing a helmet, but he had extensive injuries from the crash. Police say he was unable to communicate with officers and was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 7:00 p.m.

The driver of the other car was also taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.

This crash is still being investigated.
