NEW LONDON, Wis. — Two teenage boys are accused on stealing an SUV and eluding police, according to a news release from the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office.

Around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, a white SUV was reported stolen from a rural New London home. The Sheriff's Office says two runaway students from Rawhide Boys Ranch were identified as the suspected thieves.

Police and deputies tried chasing after the speeding vehicle. The Sheriff's Office says the SUV eventually rolled over. The two teenagers, a 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old boy, were injured in the crash, but the Sheriff's Office did not give details on the extent of their injuries.

According to online records, Rawhide is a faith-based non-profit organization that provides programs for at-risk youths in Wisconsin.
