WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — Just over 1,000 new cases of coronavirus were reported Saturday by the Wisconsin Health Department. Those numbers come one week after the state reported their lowest new cases in months (632 on 12/26).
The number of active cases also remains low. The latest report showing 5.5% of the total cases are active across Wisconsin. However, the 7-day average of positive cases is near 31%.
The percentage of people ever hospitalized is also lower at 4.4% of total cases.
