GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — The Green Bay Botanical Garden announced the Butterflies & Blooms exhibit is closed due to a team member testing positive for COVID-19.
According to the Garden, staff who worked in the butterfly house are being tested and will quarantine for two weeks. Because of this, the Butterflies & Bloom will be closed for the remaining five days of the exhibit.
"After consulting the Brown County Public Health Department, we don't have reason to believe visitors were at risk of exposure because everyone in the exhibit was required to wear a face covering at all times," the Garden wrote.
The Garden said it will remain open to members and the public for general admission through the end of August from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Starting September the hours will change to 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.
Staff remind everyone that face coverings are required for anyone age two and up in all Garden buildings as well as when physical distancing isn't possible outdoors.
