FOX CROSSING (NBC 26) -- For the second time in the past few weeks, a Fox Crossing gas station was robbed. This time, a suspect was caught.
The most recent robbery happened Monday night at about 11 p.m. According to the Fox Crossing Police Department, a suspect with a gun and wearing a mask entered the Speedway Gas Station on Green Bay Road. Police said he pointed a gun at the cashier and robbed her.
The suspect left before officers arrived. Authorities from multiple law enforcement agencies set up a perimeter. Police said a Neenah officer found the suspect and the Fox Crossing Police Department was able to take the 34-year-old man into custody. The man's name was not released.
Fox Crossing Police said this same gas station was robbed on Saturday, August 22. Police are investigating whether these robberies are connected, and whether there's any connection to other recent robberies in the Fox Cities.
