FOX CROSSING (NBC 26) -- Police are searching for a suspected robber accused of taking money from a gas station Saturday in Fox Crossing.
Fox Crossing Police said it happened at the Speedway gas station on N. Green Bay Rd. in Fox Crossing. According to police, a male suspect wearing all black clothing entered the store with a long gun and demanded cash. Police said he fled before officers arrived.
Police said officers used a K-9 and a drone while searching for the person, but couldn't find him. Officers did, however, recover evidence left behind at the crime scene, police said.
The incident is being investigated.
