The Hospital Sisters health System Eastern Wisconsin Division is issuing visitor restrictions and guidelines after the increase in flu cases in the surrounding communities.

In a press release to NBC26, the hospital states no visitors under the age of 12 will be allowed in inpatient areas. No visitors of any age with flu-like symptoms including fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, fever, vomiting or diarrhea and they request limiting the number of healthy visitors to one or two people per patient.

This restriction is not in place for the pediatric patient coming to one of our hospitals for an outpatient appointment.

HSHS-Eastern Wisconsin Division is comprised of HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay; HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan; and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.
