An ethics hearing against Green Bay Alderman Guy Zima hit a snag Wedesday evening, leaving the status of a complaint against him uncertain.
The complaint was due to be heard before the Green Bay Ethics Board, but was ended when quorum was not reached.
Zima was quick to call into question the complaint, saying no city employee had filed against him. "It may not have happened as Mayor Schmitt's committee, his close administrative people have put this together," Zima said.
But Alderwoman Barbara Dorff pushed back against Zima. "People are getting hurt by [him], and I want to put a stop to it," Dorff said.
"I'm not sure if he doesn't think that I'm capable of coming up with the complaint, but I certain did that all on my own," Dorff added.
The hearing has since been postponed. A new date has not yet been announced.
