A 31 year old Kaukauna woman was arrested after a stabbing Friday evening.
Officers responded to the 100 block of W. 6th Street around 8:30 p.m. On arrival, they found a 28 year old Kaukauna man with a laceration to his abdomen. He was taken to the hospital and was treated and later released.
Police searched for the victim's girlfriend, who had fled before officers arrived on scene, according to a press release.
She was found several hours later at a Grand Chute hotel where she was arrested.
The woman was charged with first degree recklessly endangering safety and injury by negligent use of a weapon, Kaukauna police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
