As the coronavirus pandemic continues into the second half of 2020, more and more voters are opting to vote by absentee ballot.

You can easily request an absentee ballot online if you're a registered voter in Wisconsin. Not sure if you're registered? Check here.

If you are registered, visit myvote.wi.gov and click on the vote absentee button. You'll have to type in your information in order to request an absentee. You'll also be able to request an absentee ballot for just one election or for the entire year.

Once you submit your request, you'll be able to track where the ballot is in the process, from the initial request, to the preparation of the ballot and whenever your anticipated delivery is.

If you decide you need to cancel your ballot request, myVote also gives you the information of your municipal clerk, which you'll need in order to change or cancel your request.
