Authorities report 3 missing teens, found inside an abandoned Dodge County mine are safe and in good health.
According to Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt, 16-year old Tate Rose, 16-year old Zachary Heron and 15-year old Samuel Lein were inside the mine when found by a search team. The sheriff said the three boys are from the Mayville area and have been reunited with their families.
Rumors the boys were playing a new social media game called Pokeman Go were found to be not true.
The Neda Mine, an abandoned iron mine last active in 1915, contains roughly four miles of tunnels inside. Schmidt said the area is also heavily wooded and includes some rough terrain. Iron Ridge is about 50 miles northwest of Milwaukee.
The boys were walked out of the woods around 12:30 according the Sheriff's Department. When questioned, the Sheriff said a lot of tears were shed and he believes the boys have "learned their lesson" and will tell their friends not to go into the mine.
