De Pere Police release suspect sketch in assault case

DE PERE, Wis. - De Pere Police have released a sketch of a suspect in a reports assault that police say happened Friday, September 14th near the St. Norbert College campus.

A female victim told police she was walking on the 800 block of 3rd street shortly after 3 a.m. when a vehicle, possibly a van, approached her. 

Police say the male passenger tried to talk to the woman. As she continued walking, police say the man got out of the vehicle and grabbed onto her. Police say she was able to break free after a struggle. Police say she then went to a residence to call police. 

Police say the male passenger suspect, who is featured in the sketch, is described as a Hispanic man in his 20’s. 5’8”, medium build with broad shoulders. Police say he had short black hair that was spiked up on top.

The driver suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30’s with longer black in color hair that was slicked back.

The suspected vehicle is described as an older dark colored vehicle, possibly a van.
