Wisconsin reports 2,742 new COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths

WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — Wisconsin health officials reported 2,742 new COVID-19 cases Saturday afternoon. This is a decrease of almost 250 from Friday's numbers.

The state Department of Health Services said 28,201 cases are active. A little less than 80% of people have been marked as "recovered" from the virus.

Wisconsin deaths increased by 18, with the total closing in on 1,500 people who have died in relation to the virus.

Hospitalizations increased by 120, bringing the state total to 8,319.
