WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — Although the percentage of positive tests decreased slightly, Wisconsin reported high numbers of coronavirus again on Saturday.
The state Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 1,353 cases of COVID-19 and 12 new deaths related to the virus as of Saturday afternoon.
Wisconsin health officials said 11.6% of test results returned positive. This is a decrease from the previous two days.
According to the latest DHS data, a little less than 88% of cases have been marked as recovered. There are currently 9,467 active cases in Wisconsin.
The DHS said hospitalizations increased by 46 people, bringing the state total to 6,309.
