MADISON (NBC 26) -- While not as high as the day prior, Wisconsin still reported high numbers of coronavirus on Friday.

The latest data from Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 1,369 new cases of coronavirus in the state. The state's total number of confirmed cases is now at 86,250, with 88% of those cases listed as recovered. There are currently 9,157 active cases in Wisconsin.

The percent positive rate also dropped Friday to 13.8%.

These new numbers come as UW-Oshkosh releases a new COVID-19 dashboard online, which tracks coronavirus testing on the Oshkosh campus. Coronavirus spreading on college campuses has been a concern, with UW-Madison recently shifting all classes online for 2 weeks due to the virus spread.
