Wisconsin recorded COVID-19 active cases continue to decline

WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — Health officials said 934 out of 4,438 COVID-19 tests returned positive Saturday.

The state Department of Health Services (DHS) reported another 32 deaths. This comes a day after the state passed a grim milestone of over 6,000 people to have died in relation to the virus.

According to the DHS, there is an estimated 15,369 active cases across the state, which is over 4,000 less than a week prior. A total of 527,575 people in Wisconsin who originally tested positive for the novel coronavirus have since been marked as recovered.

Hospitalizations increased by 90, bringing the state total to 24,824 people to ever be hospitalized with the virus.
