WIsconsin COVID-19 cases rise by 819 cases, 6 deaths

State health officials reported another 819 cases of COVID-19 as of Saturday afternoon.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) said positive test percentage rose slightly to 9.4%. This is in comparison to Friday's total of 9.2% of tests returning positive.

A total of 74,800 people in Wisconsin have tested positive for the virus with about 7,588 cases still active. Recovery numbers rose to 88.4% in the state.

Another six deaths were recorded, bringing Wisconsin's total to 1,119 people who have died in relation to coronavirus.

Hospitalizations are at 5,775 people, an increase of 39 since Friday.
