Wisconsin coronavirus cases fall some after three consecutive record-breaking days.

State health officials reports out of 7,617 tests done, 769 came back positive. This brings the state total to 36,448 people who have tested positive for the virus since mid-March.

On average over the past week, the number of cases reported per day was 695.

Following the record high Saturday, the latest update from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) show an increase in the percent rate of positive coronavirus tests raising from 5.7% Thursday to 10.1% Sunday.

According to the DHS, one female's death in the state was revised to not be in connection with COVID-19. This brings the state to 820 deaths related to the virus.

Saturday, President Donald Trump was seen wearing a mask in public for the first time since the start of the pandemic. He visited wounded service members and health care providers caring for COVID-19 patients at a hospital in suburban Washington.
