COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin increased by 950 as of Saturday afternoon, bringing the state total to over 70,000 people who have tested positive.
Wisconsin health officials said 10.9% of 8,700 tests came back positive Saturday, the highest percentage since August 16 at 11.2%.
The Department of Health Services (DHS) reported almost 8,000 cases are still active across Wisconsin. Recovered cases remained at 87% since its rise on Friday.
Another 13 deaths connected to coronavirus were recorded. The state's total deaths in relation to the virus is 1,081 people, which is 1.5% of positive testing cases.
Hospitalizations rose by 40, bringing the state total to 5,545.
