Three employees of Ho-Chunk Gaming-Wittenberg have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a joint news release from Shawano-Menominee Counties Health Department and Ho-Chunk Nation Department of Health.

The two health departments are investigating the positive cases. One of the cases did not have close interaction with the public, the news release says, and two of the cases did have limited contact with the public.

The health departments identified those with “close contact” to the people involved and requested that they quarantine.

Ho-Chunk Gaming-Wittenberg says it's taking extra precautions, including screening of all employees and guests upon entry, requiring the use of face coverings, increased access to hand sanitizing stations, social distancing requirements, and increased testing of employees.

The establishment has also cleaned and sanitized the possibly affected areas.
