ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) -- Bellin Health opened a dedicated respiratory clinic at its Ashwaubenon location Monday, Oct. 12. The healthcare organization says it's repurposing clinic space that is currently used for Urgent Care.
Bellin’s Bellevue respiratory clinic will close, and that space will be deep cleaned and sit empty for 12 hours before reopening as an Urgent Care location the same day, Bellin Health says.
The hours for both sites will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.
Bellin Health says it's making the change due to COVID-19. Bellin officials say the Ashwaubenon clinic can accommodate about one-third more patients than the comparable space in Bellevue.
Officials at the clinic will keep patients with respiratory symptoms separate from patients with no symptoms. The Ashwaubenon clinic will also have a separate entrance for respiratory patients and all staff and patients will wear PPE.
Patients are asked to call their provider’s office or the Bellin Health COVID-19 hotline at 920-445-7313, or use the self-triage feature on mybellin.org before seeking care for respiratory symptoms.
