Green Bay Police are warning the public about a series of catalytic converter thefts.
Since February 19th, there have been five reports of catalytic converters being stolen off of vehicles on the far west side of Green Bay and two in Ashwaubenon. Police said the thefts are happening at local businesses, after business hours and when it's dark outside.
Investigators are currently working with scrap metal businesses across the state to try to track down the thieves.
Officers are reminding people to keep the areas around their cars well lit, set up surveillance cameras if they're able, and report any suspicious people or activity to the Police Department.
