GREEN BAY — On Monday, Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity celebrated the completion of the 2019 Women Build Project by welcoming the home's new owners, the Christnot-Degroot Family: Jasmine, Ryan and their four children.

The women of NBC 26 were among groups of women who devoted the time back in May to help build the home on Neville Avenue.

In total, more than 200 women participated in Women Build, and they raised $22,000.

“It's been a very long journey we had to get 500 hours in that time, we had to not only do that but I started a new job, he started a new job, we have four kids and two dogs, so it's been crazy but it's been totally worth it and we're very excited to have our own home,” said Jasmine Christnot.

This is the 115th home Habitat has built in Brown County.
